Go beyond basic intarsia to explore knitting intarsia patterns in the round. Plus, pick up tips for keeping your yarns organised, maintaining tension, calculating yarn needs and more. You will leave this class able to knit intarsia motifs into socks and other projects knit in the round.

Suitable for intermediates. Students should be able to cast-on, cast-off, knit, purl, rib and knit in the round. Some experience with basic intarsia and working from charts will be helpful, but not required.

We will use circular needles throughout the workshop, but you may modify to suit your preferred method for knitting in the round.

Please bring with you:

- 4 different colours of yarn (25g each)

- gauge-size circular needles OR needles of your preferred type for working in the round

- tapestry needle

- ruler

- pencil and scissors
