Make a small mitten using Scottish wool & the ancient technique of Crochet Nålebinding, using a crochet hook, not a needle!

Participants must be confident with basic crochet skills, such as chaining, dc (UK tr), sc (UK dc) & sl st. All other techniques will be taught in class.

Materials required:

• Stitch marker
• Crochet hook

You will be provided with 100% Scottish wool (similar to what would have been used traditionally) and printed class notes with detailed photo tutorials.

Or if you would prefer to buy a kit from the tutor on the day for £5 it will include the following:

• stitch markers
• crochet hook
• pattern for making full sized mittens or slipper socks

If you are bringing your own tools so do not need to buy a kit, there will still be an opportunity on the day to buy a pattern for making full sized mittens or slipper socks (including video tutorials) for £2
