Soothing stitching meets playful creativity in this session with designer Georgia Farrell.

Be inspired by Georgia’s designs and swatches that show how this simple stitch can be creatively applied to add colour, pattern and detail to your knits. After some demonstrations, you will learn how to design your own motifs and embroider them onto your knitted fabric.

The aim of this session is to learn a fun new skill, to spend some time being creative with yarn and colour, and to leave feeling inspired by the possibilities this simple stitch holds!

Materials/tools required:

• wool or darning needle
• scissors
• coloured pens & pencils
• at least one pre-knitted stocking stitch swatch (old tension swatches are perfect!)
