Join knitwear designer Sylvia Watts-Cherry and explore intarsia knitting using stocking stitch and garter stitch.

Learn about reading and working from intarsia charts, yarn management, calculating yardage for each colour and how to weave-in ends.

You will leave the workshop having learnt all the skills you need to start knitting various intarsia patterns.

Materials/tools required:

• at least four different colours of DK yarn (approx. 10g of each colour)
• one pair of gauge size knitting needles
• ruler
• pencil/pen
• tapestry needle
• scissors

Suitable for beginner+ level. Participants should be confident with casting on, casting off, knit and purl stitches.
