Discover the realities of wearing Georgian fashion and learn how 200 year old dresses are conserved in this interactive talk.

Christine Housden, former historic costumer conservator at Hampton Court Palace, and Jenny Colquhoun, Georgian fashion reenactor and enthusiast, have helped transform how the museum displays its historical costume collection.

This talk will introduce their work and allow a closer view of the Georgian fashions we care for. Jenny will also talk about her journey into costuming and the levels of authenticity involved with making period costumes to wear as a historical reenactor.
