Step back in time and explore the world of historical stillrooms. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to craft aromatic incense cones, fragrant botanical blends, and floral waters using natural ingredients and techniques inspired by the past.
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced in historical crafts, you’ll enjoy creating these natural, handmade products that were once staples in everyday life.
What you'll create and take home:
- 12-16 incense cones made with sandalwood, myrrh, and other herb, spice and gum powders
- Botanical blend (potpourri) made with roses, lavender, calendulas and more
- Floral water for your home, skin and clothes

- Step-by-step guidance and historical insights into the origins and uses of each item
- Medieval-inspired snacks and drinks, including: herbal teas, warm spiced apple drink inspired by historical hippocras, mulled spiced nuts & dried fruits

The session will be led by living historian and qualified teacher, Geanina Grigore.
