We're excited to introduce this brand-new event, welcoming a line-up of pop-up food trucks, bar, and live music!

Missing your festival fix this summer? Come down to the Maltings where you’ll find food trucks serving mouth-watering street food, live acoustic music and a vinyl connoisseur Vi4YL playing old school vinyl with a mix of northern soul and funk.

Anticipated food truck line-up:

Tipsy Pigs – BBQ
Earth to Oven
– locally sourced, seasonal food
Sprinkle of Saffron
– authentic Indian flavours

Vi4YL is an insatiable love* of vinyl: buying, selling and playing records. Spinning a glorious selection of Funk, Soul, Motown and Reggae tunes, Chris Bailey will be representing. He’s also bringing crates of 2nd hand vinyl all looking for loving new homes. @Vi4YL for more. *Some might say “addiction".

Acoustic musician Daniel Eagle will play two sets, at 5.45pm and 7.45pm. Daniel blends a gentle yet powerful mix of acoustic/songwriter writing ability with a hint of soulful blues performance.

There will be plenty of seating and the bar will be open with an additional pop-up outside bar. Toilets will be available in the main buildings and the maltings stores will be open throughout the evening.

The music will take place in a beautiful traditional tent-pole marquee on the front lawn as part of a pilot project 'towns alive!' created by house theatre, an initiative delivered by Farnham Maltings. towns alive! will test the idea that venues can present work beyond their walls, strike up relationships with and between the people of their towns, offer new ways to access creativity and explore their own role as an indispensable hub of the community. The marquee will be on the lawn outside the Maltings from the 22 to the 25 July 2021.
