Come and have some fun exploring the wonderful world of metal embossing and mixed media. This all day workshop will enable you to have an insight into how to combine metal surface techniques with experimental mixed media and painting.

Explore how you can create exciting and unique metal embossed surfaces and effects using arts and crafts tools and materials (embossing hand tools and metal sheet) in a fun and creative environment. Learn how to produce wonderful mark making and drawing impression effects on metal sheet. Learning about relief and intaglio effects to create raised and indented surfaces. Explore and develop your understanding of visual language and composition, in creating unique pieces of artwork. Experiment with a combination of metal and mixed media materials and techniques; metal embossing, drawing and painting techniques to develop samples, for further use within your finished artwork. Create a range of finished artwork (samples, greetings cards, mounted and framed artwork)
