Discover the calming and absorbing art of mandala painting in this immersive half-day workshop, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of mandala art and be guided through the process of creating your own unique artwork around a mirror.

Working on a 30cm round wooden base with a mirror at its centre, you’ll learn how to build intricate patterns using dots, brushwork, repetition and symmetry. Shilpa will guide you step by step through her techniques, from creating different dot sizes and decorative patterns to exploring colour combinations and adding beautiful finishing details.

You’ll have time to practise the techniques before developing your own design, with individual guidance along the way. Suitable for beginners as well as those with creative experience, the workshop encourages you to slow down, become absorbed in colour and pattern, and enjoy the meditative process of creating something by hand.

By the end of the session, you’ll take home your own hand-painted mandala mirror — a beautiful piece of functional artwork to display in your home.
