Meet Jacky, a mixed media artist and creative tutor with over 35 years’ experience as a practising artist, craftsperson and educator. Originally trained in jewellery and silversmithing, she now explores natural forms, abstraction, colour and texture through painting and mixed media.

Curiosity lies at the heart of Jacky’s practice. Her work combines intricate patterns, organic shapes, bold colours, layered textures and metallic effects, celebrating the unexpected possibilities of different materials and techniques. Experimentation and imagination are central to both her artwork and her teaching.

As an experienced freelance educator, Jacky shares her skills through engaging art workshops and has worked on public art projects with schools, local businesses, charities and councils. She encourages participants to explore materials, try new techniques and develop their own ideas. Her approach invites learners to enjoy the creative process and discover the satisfaction of making something uniquely their own.
