In this relaxed, hands-on session, you'll learn the technique from scratch and begin your own small piece, a small square that can be framed or hung once it's finished. You'll choose your own colours from a range of embroidery threads to create a palette that's yours, pick from a selection of stitch patterns, including the classic Florentine flame, and discover how the design builds row by row.

Bargello is a wonderfully meditative, slow craft. Two hours is the perfect introduction - enough to learn the technique, get a good way into your piece, and build the confidence to carry on stitching at home.
