Suzanne Booth

Suzanne graduated from Winchester School of Art in 2000 with a degree in Textile Design. She then worked within the textile industry in London until she set up her own studio, designing handwoven fabric in 2002. She found different ways to make and create when she had her children. She made greeting cards and wedding stationery for a while and then ventured into making children's clothes with her mum. 'Suzie Jules' was born from this collaboration, the name for her craft business that she continues to use today. Suzie Jules remained more of a hobby while her children were small, and she started helping in schools. She found a love of teaching and education and became a teaching assistant before training to be a primary school teacher in 2016. Although now out of the classroom, she continues to support teachers by writing art lesson plans for an online educational publisher. It is a combination of these two passions, teaching and crafting, that she started to design and make textile craft kits, which is the focus of the Suzie Jules business today. She's excited to expand her passion and utilise her skills by delivering in-person workshops across Hampshire and Surrey.
