Fiona Hesford is the founder of Sewgirl- a range of contemporary sewing patterns and kits for everyday garments such as dresses, jackets, trousers and skirts, as well as patterns for hats, bags and accessories.

New for thread 2025, Sewgirl will be bringing range of new and exclusive fabrics called KINDRED which is a collaboration with her artist husband Marko on a collection of unique, bold and contemporary designs on cotton fabric.

Fiona makes regular appearances on Sewing Street TV and has been featured in publications such as Simply Sewing and Love Sewing magazines.
