Second City Yarns is all about celebrating Birmingham using vibrant colours and traditional British materials. Inspiration comes from local landmarks including the Botanical Gardens, gems of the Jewellery Quarter and the rainbow flag of Hurst Street, the centre of the city's gay village. The city's iconic 11 bus route is represented by a glorious rainbow wall. British wool top is available for spinners and felters. They are passionate about supporting British farmers and protecting the environment. All their non superwash yarn and fibre is British, packaging is plastic free and even the dye pots are powered by solar panels on the roof!
