Bookham Machine Knitting Club

How do you knit a complicated lace scarf in a day? Can you knit a fair isle 4-ply jumper with even stitches and ‘automatic’ floats? How do you easily put a dent in your yarn stash? The answer to these is Machine Knitting.
As the only Surrey-based Machine Knitting club, Bookham Machine Knitters promote knitting by flat- bed machine, demystify this craft, create beautiful designs and introduce a new generation to use yarn in this way.
A small team of enthusiastic and experienced club members coming from London, Surrey, and Berkshire will provide demonstrations of machines in action, together with showing a selection of samples of knitting done via machine.
