News Story

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday I want to update you on how we are planning to move forward at the Maltings and at the museum of farnham. The safety of our audience, performers, volunteers, and staff remains of utmost importance to us.

From Monday 19 July, in line with government guidelines, we intend to return to full capacity for events without the need for socially distanced seating.

Over the summer months, our staff working in public facing roles inside and outside the buildings and moving around the building will wear face coverings. We are strongly encouraging our audience to respect each other and us by continuing to wear face coverings in the auditorium and around the building, unless exempt or whilst eating and drinking.

We will continue with enhanced cleaning and one-way systems for events. We ask that you consider your proximity to others whilst in the building.

We will keep reviewing our safety measures and government advice as we move to a more ‘normal’ life. We understand that everyone has different views on social distancing and the wearing of face coverings, and we ask that you respect others.

The Farnham Maltings box office is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9am to 3pm. Our friendly team are on hand to help you with your bookings. If you would prefer not to sit too close to other audience members, we will do our best to recommend seats which might suit you better.

Should you have an enquiry relating to visiting or attending an event at the museum of Farnham, contact their front desk and the team will be happy to help, they are open 10am-5pm Tuesday to Saturday.

We are so grateful for the overwhelming positive response to our reopening and the generosity you have shown in donating £58,188 towards our fundraising target of £100k.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we navigate through the next few months.
