News Story

Tweedy the clown is coming to Farnham Maltings with his new show; Tweedy's Lost Property. We spoke with him to find out about how his new job is going!

We heard you got a job at Lost Property! Congratulations, how’s it going?

Thanks. It's going as well as you'd expect for an accident-prone clown.

What does the job involve, and is it hard?

It involves registering lost items when they arrive, sorting them, and unregistering found items, oh and answering the telephone. It shouldn't be hard, but things keep going wrong.

Tweedy, as a legendary clown, what made you want to get a ‘real’ job?

When the pandemic happened, the government said entertainers should retrain, so this is me retraining.

We know you’ve been having a hard time answering the phone so far, do you ever get to find out who’s on the other end of the phone call?

Yes sometimes.

What are Tweedy’s plans for the future and Where will he go next?

Luckily, I only have to work in the office till April when I can return to Giffords Circus.

Book Tickets for Tweedy's Lost Property in the Great hall on Fri 18 February at 11.30am and 2pm here.
