This popular workshop will cover the basic techniques, tips and tricks required to create your own fabulous 3D felted sculpture, mounted on a wooden reel, which will be provided.Needle felting, as well as being fun to do is also quite therapeutic and addictive! Continued mindful poking with a special barbed needed into carded sheep wool will slowly transform the wool into a solid form of your design. You will receive step by step guidance from your tutor, Carol, to sculpt the wool into the required component shapes that you will then felt together to to form the majestic kingfisher.

Whether you are a complete beginner or have many needle felt projects under your belt, come and enjoy the day with like minded participants, you are all welcome. Please wear comfortable clothes as we will be sitting for long periods, although you will be encouraged to stretch and move too. We will have a short break for lunch.
