Join watercolour artist Kristina Kivu for a relaxed morning learning the fundamentals of watercolour painting in a playful and approachable way.

This workshop will introduce you to the basic techniques of modern watercolour painting, including colour mixing, brush control, mark making, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry. Through guided exercises such as pattern play, loose shapes and expressive mark-making, you’ll learn how to loosen up, experiment and enjoy working with this free-flowing medium.

There will be plenty of watercolour demonstrations and one-to-one support throughout. You’ll have time to experiment, build confidence and begin exploring your own style, and you’ll leave with a small collection of finished pieces and the skills to continue painting at home.

You will be given a complete watercolour kit, including paints, brushes and paper, to use during the session and take home afterwards.

Suitable for anyone looking for a relaxed and creative introduction to watercolour.

All materials will be provided.

Kristina is a highly experienced watercolour artist and illustrator, based in Farnham, who has been delivering regular workshops for over three years. Her classes focus on building confidence, encouraging personal expression, and reconnecting with the joy of creating.
