During this two day course you will learn modern reupholstery techniques including striping down and reupholstering a modern dining chair or chair with a drop in style seat pad.*

Hayley & Martin, co-founders of Fox & Furb Upholstery & Design Studio with guide you through the reupholstery and recovering process and you will leave with the skill required to replicate that process at home.

We will use a combination of modern techniques and tools to show you the materials you can use for this project to strip down and build it back up.

All tools & materials will be provided except your chosen top fabric and chair, which is to be supplied by you.

This course is for complete beginners, everybody works at a different pace.

If you have a set of chairs to recover and you get through the first one quickly you are welcome to start with another chair on day two.

Materials Required:

• 1m fabric, suitable for domestic upholstery (we will have a selection of sale designer upholstery fabric to buy if required)
• a project chair to work on.

*Please provide a dining style chair or chairs for this course. Your chair must not have arms, a full back or springs in the seat, a webbed base or solid base is fine. We can help guide your choice prior to the course and can provide practice chairs if required.
