Maltings Lunchtime Jazz present a regular monthly jazz performance on a Thursday lunchtime in the relaxed setting of the Barley Room.

Featuring a guest performer supported by a regular house trio of piano, saxophone and double bass. Previous guests have included Nigel Price, Steve Waterman, Tony Woods, Stuart Henderson and Debbie Bracknell.

To start our 5th year at the Maltings we have the welcome return of trumpet and flugelhorn player Stuart Henderson. Formerly principal trumpet of The Scots Guards Band in Her Majesty’s Household Division, Stuart has played many times for the Royal Family and at State occasions all over the world. Since leaving the services Stuart has become a fixture on the UK jazz scene appearing with many of the country’s finest jazz musicians. With Alex Forsyth – saxophone, Marianne Windham – bass and David Kirby - piano
