This workshop is about painting watercolour florals with intuition and ease. It’s less about strict techniques and more about discovering your own way of expressing through paint. Loose florals can feel challenging, especially for beginners. It’s easy to get caught up in tiny details, which can become overwhelming. That’s why we’ll focus on simplifying flower and leaf shapes—capturing their essence rather than every detail. This keeps your work expressive, harmonious, and achievable. Through guided exercises, you’ll build confidence and loosen your approach. We’ll explore loose freestyle flowers, focus on basic shapes, and experiment with simple foliage patterns. Instead of aiming for perfection, we’ll embrace the process-letting colours blend naturally, welcoming happy accidents, and observing what unfolds on the page.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with some watercolour experience. You’ll leave with a few finished floral pieces and a renewed sense of creative confidence.

All materials are provided, including a full watercolour kit to use during the session and take home.
