This workshop invites you to slow down, relax your nervous system, and reconnect with your creativity.We’ll begin with a guided meditation to connect with your breath. You’ll carry that awareness into your painting, following the breath in each brushstroke and letting your body guide the rhythm of your work. Many people struggle with perfectionism, wanting every mark to be “just right.” Here, you’ll gently observe those impulses without judgment.

When you notice tension or focus on “mistakes,” you’ll return to the breath—your steady anchor to presence. Mindfulness in painting is about noticing, not fixing. Anchored in breath, you’ll explore watercolour techniques. We’ll use wet-on-wet to let colours flow and blend naturally, and wet-on-dry for more defined forms. You’ll experiment with patterns, shapes, and repeated marks to create simple yet intricate designs. As you paint, you’ll begin to notice what draws you in—developing a sense of your personal style through intuition and mindful exploration.

All materials provided, including a watercolour kit to take home.
