Bring colour, light, and creativity into your garden with this inspiring two-day fused glass workshop with Bombima Glass. Guided by award-winning artist Caroline Small, you’ll design and build a stunning weatherproof sculpture that turns your outdoor space into a personal art gallery.

Day One – Design & Fusing

Learn how to cut and shape glass safely, then explore creative techniques using frits, powders, stringers, and paints to add depth and colour. You’ll design and make two vibrant 15cm glass panels, experimenting with layering and texture. Your creations will be kiln-fired, ready for assembly in the next session.

Day Two – Building the Sculpture

Discover how to construct a robust zinc frame to showcase your fused glass. Combine craftsmanship and imagination to complete a unique, free-standing garden sculpture that captures the light beautifully all year round.

A mindful, hands-on creative experience — ideal for beginners or improvers. Learn traditional and modern glass techniques in a warm, supportive studio and take home a lasting piece of outdoor art you’ll treasure for years to come.
