Candide creates beautiful baskets and ornaments by weaving with locally foraged pine needles.
This ancient craft begins with collecting, washing and drying the needles before sewing them together in spirals to create each piece. Pine needle weaving is still relatively unknown in the UK, and Candide is excited to introduce visitors to this traditional craft.
Come along to learn the technique and have a go at finishing your own small pine needle coaster.
