Nayab Ahmed is an Arabic and modern calligrapher whose craft-led practice explores culture, community and storytelling.

Working live with her own materials, Nayab will demonstrate the intricate techniques of traditional Arabic script and gold leaf application. Inspired by architectural motifs and historic arts, she enjoys sharing the traditions behind the materials and the calm, meditative process of calligraphy.

Visitors of all ages are welcome to ask questions, discover more about the craft and have a go at Arabic calligraphy themselves.
