Family Festival 2026 Bookable Workshop

Join puppeteer and marionette maker, Alicia Britt, to make a simple scarf marionette puppet. Marionettes are an endangered heritage artform which can be traced back in the UK as early as the 15th Century. Working with their accompanying adult, children will learn how using weight and strings together can make their very own dancing scarf puppet to take home and learn about this incredibly playful part of British Heritage.
