This is a three-week course (3 x 2 hour sessions) run by experienced crochet tutor and designer, Merrian Holland. Make a beautiful lantern which will have the opportunity to feature in the glass foyer as part of the display for Unravel. You will of course have your lantern returned to you and it can then be used as a gorgeous lampshade.
Merrian has designed 3 different lanterns/shades using triangle, hexagon and pentagon motifs that are easier to make than they look!
You'll be learning how to:
- join motifs with join-as-you-go (JAYG)
- make 3 dimensional shapes with different motifs
- how to set and stiffen your work.

- single crochet (UK double)
- double crochet (UK treble)
