Hosted by Rekindle and Farnham Maltings, Pitch Up: Libraries is an in-person event which provides a platform for libraries, producers and artists to pitch ideas, providing space for new partnerships to emerge.

Rekindle is an exciting project that places libraries, and their staff, at the heart of delivering creative and cultural experiences for rural and underserved communities, aiming to empower library services by boosting workforce skills, and support them to experiment with new ways to engage audiences – both in and out of library spaces.

By welcoming libraries, producers and theatre-makers to pitch what they have to offer, and what they’re looking for, the Pitch Up: Libraries event aims to foster a more collaborative and open approach than traditional pitching events.

Alongside 10 artists and companies, the following libraries and organisations will be pitching their opportunities for partnership working: Buckinghamshire Libraries; Luton Libraries; Surrey Libraries; Kent Libraries; Slough Libraries; Medway Libraries; Kingston Libraries; and Applause Rural Touring.

There will also be a keynote speech from Louisa Steele, Relationship Manager, Libraries, South East Arts Council England

Please book your free industry audience ticket in advance (a simple lunch and refreshments will be provided). This is an in-person event at Wycombe Library and spaces are limited.
