Pitch Up: Libraries

Rekindle (Buckinghamshire Libraries)

Hosted by Rekindle and Farnham Maltings, Pitch Up: Libraries is an in-person event which provides a platform for libraries, producers and artists to pitch ideas, providing space for new partnerships to emerge.

The 2025 Libraries Pitch Up event was a great success – we had 10 artists/companies and 9 libraries/producing companies pitching exciting and creative ideas, and the networking sessions proved extremely fruitful as other delegates joined the conversations, and it was clearly valued by all who attended.

We heard from Louisa Steel, Libraries Relationship Manager, ACE and Natalie Jode, Executive Director at Creative Arts East and joint event producer with Farnham Maltings, and are indebted to Buckinghamshire Libraries for their support for the day.

With feedback including ‘Really enjoyable’ and ‘Totally inspiring", we hope that it will prove fruitful in terms of future projects and partnerships and that the work of the Rekindle libraries project will live on!
