Held on the first Saturday of every month, our Maltings Monthly Market is one of the oldest and largest in Surrey and Hampshire.
With over 200 stalls to browse, you can find everything from crafts and collectables to vintage finds and local foods.
What’s more, you can also enjoy our Maltings Monthly Makes, a series of family pottery workshops that take place on market days. To find out more, please see below.
If you would like to register to become a market stall holder please download the registration form here.
Please complete and return this form by post to Anna Garrett, Market Office, Farnham Maltings, Bridge Square, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7QR
Alternatively, you can send the form via email to email@example.com or contact the Box Office & Market staff on 01252 745444 on the 17th of the month to secure a place at the next month’s market.
The market is booked on a month by month basis. All regular stallholders are requested to arrange payment for their stalls by the 16th of the preceding month. On the evening of the 16th, all of the tables and stalls not paid for are released and offered on a first-come, first-served basis on the 17th (or the nearest working day after; we do not sell market stalls on a Saturday or Sunday).
Our Box Office and Market staff will be able to advise which stalls are available on the 17th. Please keep trying if you don’t get through immediately. The lines get very busy and, by the time requests received via phone have been processed, we are often unable to accommodate requests made via answer phone message.
Price: £35 for an indoor stall and £25 for an outdoor stall.
Please note: Stallholders seeking stands outside in our Courtyard should contact the Box Office & Market staff the week before the Monthly Market they wish to attend to reserve a space. We do not take payment in advance for spaces in the Courtyard in case of poor weather. If you decide not to attend, we ask that you call so we are able to provide the appropriate number of tables.
Join resident ceramicist Penny Eccles on Market Saturdays in the Maltings Pottery and get creative and experiment with materials such as clay, plaster of paris and mosaics.
