Mother/Daughter Farmers Tammy + Char raise breed specific fiber from their beloved flocks at Wing & A Prayer Farm. Spotlighting heritage breeds and creating pigments from theirdye gardens, their hand-dyed and natural coloured yarns are available from their online shop. Since 2001, when they started with Shetlands, to now, they are home to 10 breeds of sheep, Angora + Cashmere goats, and alpacas, mainly through rescues & some through breed-up programs. Their focus is on local, small business, growing sustainable fibers and creating a greener earth, and hosting gatherings of inspiration and education on our beautiful farm in Vermont.
