Weku Yarn
We’re Hannah and Lydia, the two London-based sisters whose yarn is inspired by our Ghanaian heritage… and then some! The name ‘Weku’ means ‘Family’ in our Dad’s native language – Ga. We embrace this heritage in our business, and in particular we love the beautiful and bright traditional outfits and patterns. Some would say as sisters we’re polar opposites, but this works perfectly to bring you a mix of different yarns. Within Weku’s colourways you will see lots of bright variegated yarns but also some more subtle semi-solids and pastels.
