You can travel the world with a needle. It speaks its own language. A needle has enabled me to build communities, create calm in bereavement and punctuate time. My kits use tent stitch, bargello and norweave. The colours can be described as 1970's caravan. Modern Bargello was the first of a new wave of bargello books in recent years, restoring a stitch brings a new community. The kits use hand dyed as well as traditional tapestry yarns creating a new story between producer, dyer and hand crafter.
