A collection of round white pots with distinctive glaze drips

Handmade ceramics inspired by the natural world and the fascinating array of textures and forms that can be found; from rotting tree bark, eroded rock formations to plant algae and microscopic germs. Processes involve the use of hand forming techniques to create organic textural vessels that echo the ancient aesthetic of 'Wabi-Sabi' and celebrate the imperfections and unpredictability of the ceramic making process. Surfaces undergo manipulations and additions often revealing the chance marks of the hand within the making process and are then decorated and fired using layering of slips, glazes and oxides to create a truly unique item.
