The Urban Purl is an independent London based dye house, owned by yarn dyer and founder Leila Bux.

Creating colourful blended landscapes on luxurious yarn is Leila’s dream job, and she’s been enjoying dyeing yarn and fibre since 2017. Providing her inspiration is the story of the city she lives in, with many colourways named after London’s historic landmarks, quirky street names and places.

Expect intense and jewel-like colours inspired by cityscapes, mythology and curiosities as well as the ubiquitous floral tributes that feature strongly in her dyeing.
