Lisa lives and works by the sea in Poole, Dorset.
Drawing is at the centre of Lisa’s work and she loves to use hand-printed techniques that add striking colour, unexpected patterns and textures to her illustrated artworks. She either creates them as 2-D artworks onto paper or makes the hand-printed textures and elements into collage artworks and dioramas, sometimes incorporating drawn line, her own words and found ephemera such as old maps.

Lisa is particularly inspired by folktales, children’s literature, poetry, everyday narratives, the beautiful natural world around us, as we'll as the sea with all its symbolism, fascinating sayings and strange and wonderful creatures,
