The Border Mill
We are a small, family run fibre processing mill in the Scottish Borders. We mainly provide a fleece processing service for owners of alpacas and rare breed sheep across the UK, and can process an individual fleece from a named animal as well as larger batches and blends of different fibres, plus dyeing and handweaving services. Alongside this, we have developed our own small range of yarns, spun from British alpaca, blends of other luxury fibres, and our very special North Coast Tweed – pure Shetland wool in a palette of 50 colours inspired by Scotland’s wildly beautiful far north coast.
