Handcrafted botanical linocuts and fine art etchings inspired by nature.

Surrey Artist of the Year 2026 nominee, Sophie Brogden Fairlight Prints practice explores traditional craftsmanship alongside contemporary, sustainable printmaking . She hand carves and prints vibrant floral linocuts as well as rich tonal etchings with aquatint and also enjoys creating tetrapak prints. Sophie work captures the essence of flowers, foliage, birds and landscapes, incorporating ‘chatter’ lines to capture unique movement, light and life in her linocut prints.

A, her work has been exhibited at Ironbridge Fine Arts, RHS Wisley Gallery, New Ashgate Gallery and The Lightbox.
