Shirley Watson creates original hand-cut lino prints, printed on a hand press in her home studio. Her print inspiration comes from her local walks in Farnham and Surrey and trips to the coast, which celebrate the changing seasons of the British landscape.

Many of Shirley's prints are made using the reduction process. This is a method of printing in which each colour is printed then cut away from the same lino block. The process is repeated for colour. This creates a limited edition of prints as the block cannot be reused.
