Samantha prints bold, colourful work onto paper, wood and fabric. Producing mostly wood and linocut prints, Samantha also like to experiment with other printing techniques including screen printing, stamp and gelli printing. As well as producing prints on paper, they also love making & constructing and their work also includes textile wall hangings, free standing wooden ornaments and functional pieces from lampshades to jewellery. Most of their prints are one-off pieces rather than editions. The idea of ‘play’ is an important part of their process and Samantha enjoys exploring colour, pattern & texture, experimenting with abstract shapes and playing with composition.
