Pigment & Ply is a hand dyed yarn business drawing inspiration from classical paintings, art history and found curiousities.

Each colourway is developed in a sketchbook and then, using those images, the colours are then translated onto yarn. Pigment & Ply like to approach craft with a holistic approach, offering handmade notions that add to the to the reflective practice of knitting. These include hand poured candles, polymer clay stitch markers and hand drawn illustrations that are digitally printed onto fabric and used to make one of a kind project bags.
