Patrick Humphries began his writing career as a “hip young gunslinger” on New Musical Express in 1976. He was written over 20 books including The Complete Guide To The Music Of Bob Dylan and Oh No! Not Another Bob Dylan Book. During his career he has interviewed the three surviving Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed and Van Morrison. The nearest he got to Bob Dylan was when he brushed against him at a 1986 press conference.
