Marina Randall Ceramics

Marina Randall’s journey in ceramics has taken her from exploring traditional African coiled vessels inspired by her cultural upbringing in South Africa, to conventional functional pots, combining spontaneous brush-marks, textures and patterns with coloured slips and oxides. Her inspiration comes from nature and the landscapes experienced in her Surrey surroundings and also her travels. Marina's recent work includes abstract landscapes based on many places she has visited, ranging from rugged shorelines to rolling hills and mountains. She continues to explore colour and new ways to create captivating textures to create evocative 'landscapes'.
