Lucy Rodgers studied fine art in Manchester, specialising in printmaking, and is now based in her studio on the Somerset Levels. Lucy creates handmade, small edition, colour reduction lino prints and wood engravings using a Victorian press.

Her work uses still life to celebrate the beauty in the everyday, telling stories through objects linking them to the people around her and the landscape she lives in. Using both lino and wood engravings to explore the use of colour, shape and textures to create compositions which can be both intimate and graphically impactful.
