Louise is a textile artist and designer from Aotearoa New Zealand living in the UK. Her creative practice explores the meeting point of art, craft, and design through a professional studio practice of bespoke handwoven textiles.

Passionate about traditional craft skills and contemporary making, Louise enjoys sharing a breadth of creative techniques in welcoming and supportive environments. She has taught in universities, workshops, and community settings, helping people of all experience levels discover the pleasure of working with textiles in its many forms.

Through collaborative projects, she is interested in how textiles can bring people together for some thoughtful making to create a sense of connection.
