Look and Hatch
I love things that are the wrong scale, from miniature chairs to 6ft long pencils. So, when I started making hook and latch rugs, I decided to take small everyday items like Pantone swatches and school rulers and recreate them on a massive scale. Things got much more interesting when I submitted a rug based on a railway ticket to Grayson's Art Club on Channel 4. Not only was it featured on the programme and in the accompanying exhibition at Bristol Art Gallery and Museum, it was bought by Grayson Perry himself.
