Lisa Takahashi is a British-Japanese artist-printmaker based in Somerset. Her colourful linocuts, woodcuts and monotypes explore flowers, landscapes and cycling, drawing inspiration from early 20th-century British printmaking. Combining bold shapes, dynamic compositions and harmonious colour, her work celebrates the movement, character and everyday beauty of the world around us.

Alongside her studio practice, Lisa teaches printmaking at Isle Print Room, her studio on the picturesque Somerset Levels, and writes about art materials and printmaking for publications including Pressing Matters.
