Kirsty Adams is an award-winning ceramicist, having been selected for the Crafts Council’s Artisan Craft award to make a collection for the National Trust and more recently, the signature vases for Brasserie Constance, Fulham. Kirsty's work retains the spontaneity and delicacy intrinsic to making on the potter’s wheel. Having trained in Brighton and on the wheel in Japan, Eastern aesthetics are intrinsic to their practice. Kirsty works from their studio in Newcastle-Upon Tyne making moon jars, vessels and bowls, reflecting a sense of place and provenance, whether it be the Northumberland coastline or Icelandic landscape.
