Jule creates original pieces which reflect her love of the old, ordinary, worn and imperfect. Pieces often start from a vague notion and evolve serendipitously as maker, cloth and paper share an unspoken dialogue. Her work often combines print, thread and rust.

To re-energise Jule likes to draw and mark make. Drawings are often taken into screenprint and experimented on at Ochre Print Studio where she works as a tutor, technician and the Disability and Community Arts Coordinator.
