Judit Esztergomi Ceramics
festival exhibitor

Judit makes wheel-thrown tableware from high-firing clays. Judit works with uncomplicated forms which provide the blank canvas for their patterns. Decoration techniques all involve carving through or scraping back, with sgraffito and inlay being their favourites.
Inspiration has various sources: the folk pottery of Judit's motherland and the country’s waving landscape silhouettes; the meadow grasses and flowers as they gently move in the wind. Their landscape architect background adds the love for regularity and intricate details.
